Heart n Soul is a creative community and arts charity based in London. Heart n Soul provides opportunities for people with learning disabilities and autistic people to explore their talents, make high quality work, access new opportunities and influence change in their own lives and the lives of others.
Heart n Soul offers regular creative activities for adults and young people, both online and in person. Heart n Soul also support artists to develop, perform and exhibit what they do. Their artists have performed at a range of events, festivals and venues across the UK and beyond. They have also seen their artwork exhibited at a range of leading UK art institutions including Tate Modern and South London Gallery. Heart n Soul also curate club nights, the Beautiful Octopus Club and the Squidz Club,bringing disabled and non-disabled audiences together.
Do Your Own Thing, is Heart n Soul’s key creative art project for young people aged 10-25 with learning disabilities. It takes place once per month and is a place for young people to hang out, make friends and have fun. Participants have the opportunity to make radio, create art, produce music or try their hand at DJing or video production.
Heart n Soul also provides one-to-one support to young people to help them develop their creative skills.
