Oily Cart creates highly crafted, interactive, sensory theatre that tours across the UK as well as home-based theatre for children who are not able to access traditional theatre settings.

Oily Cart shows include sounds, smells, touch, light, music and kinaesthetic movement, such as the audience floating in a hydrotherapy pool or bouncing on a trampoline. Shows are designed to be accessible by disabled children who experience the most barriers to access.

Oily Cart was one of True Colours’ very first grantees, receiving its first funding in 2002. We are currently supporting the organisation’s core costs.
