SLOW supports families following the death of a child. The charity provides an informal, quiet space for bereaved parents and siblings to meet with others, share their experiences, take time out or simply be with others who felt isolated in their grief.
The charity offers a range of support groups, both in person and online, plus creative workshops for bereaved siblings under 18.
True Colours is delighted to be supporting SLOW’s siblings service for under 18’s, known as SLOWsibs. This service provides opportunities for children to come together, explore their feelings, share fun activities and build their confidence. Past workshops have included cupcake making, painting,Christmas wreath making and other creative activities.
True Colours is providing funding to help the charity to grow its SLOWsibs service over the next three years.
